Dort's Fried Green Tomatoes

Use young and firm fruits that have not developed many seeds or juice for best results.
Ingredients
Use 2 unripe tomatoes per person you wish to serve.
Preparation
Slice the green tomatoes as thin as you can. Salt and pepper one side of the tomato slice, then roll in flour. Salt & pepper the other side. Fry them in at least 1/2“ of hot vegetable oil. Dry on paper towels, then serve.
