Welcome to the Old Elk Farm!
We are a Vermont apiary from the island town of Isle la Motte in northern Lake Champlain. We advocate for a natural environment, clean water, fertile earth, a vibrant ecosystem, and protections for endangered species of pollinators and wildlife.
We planted our gardens to provide continual blooms from a variety of flowering plants and trees to feed our honey bees, along with native Mason bees and Bumblebees. We have provided shelters for a variety of pollinators. Our property has become a refuge for migrating birds and butterflies as well as native wildlife.
We offer an exquisitely delicious pure wildflower honey and items that help the pollinators. Our Seed Exchange offers a variety of seeds to encourage others to support pollinators in their own gardens.
