Dorothy’s Crispy Fried Green Tomatoes |
Use young and firm fruits that have not developed many seeds or juice for best results. Use 2 tomatoes per person you wish to serve. Slice the green tomatoes as thin as you can.
Salt and pepper one side of the tomato slice, then roll in flour. Salt & pepper the other side. Fry them in at least 1/2 “ of hot vegetable oil. Dry on paper towels, then serve. Recipe courtesy of Dorothy Ricer |
